JuniRund 1.500 Skater werden beimGENERALI BERLINER HALBMARATHONerwartet, um gemeinsam in die Inlinesaison2019 zu starten. Der Starterfolgt in diesem Jahr mitten imTiergarten auf der Straße des 17.Juni. Von dort begeben sich die Skaterauf eine abwechslungsreicheStadtrundfahrt auf Rollen. Vorbeian der Siegessäule und dem SchlossCharlottenburg, über den Ku’damm,den Potsdamer und Leipziger Platz,vorbei am Gendarmenmarkt bis zurZieldurchfahrt kurz hinter dem BrandenburgerTor. Dort sorgen Tribünenrechts und links der Strecke fürechte Stadionatmosphäre. Die neueStreckenführung ist kurvenreich.Daher empfehlen wir, das Rennenlocker und mit Spaß anzugehen, vorallem wenn nach langer Winterpausenoch nicht so viele Kilometer aufSkates in den Beinen stecken.HALBMARATHON EXPO und KidsSkating am Flughafen TempelhofDer Check-In für das Rennen erfolgtwie im vergangenen Jahr am ehemaligenFlughafen Tempelhof. Hiererhalten alle Teilnehmer ihre Startunterlagen.Im Inline-Village gibtes außerdem einen Meeting-Pointfür alle Skater, die Rollerblade Service-Stationfür kurzfristige Reparaturensowie interessante Angebotezahlreicher Händler. Die Rennen derKinder – sowohl mit Skates als auchmit dem Scooter – werden am Samstagmittagauf dem Rollfeld vor demFlughafengebäude ausgetragen. DieAnmeldung ist nur vor Ort bis 30 Minutenvor dem Start möglich.Nach dem Rennen zur PartyAuch wenn die Beine nach dem Rennenmüde sind: Am Sonntagabendwird gefeiert! JuniAbout 1,500 skaters are expected tostart off the 2019 inline season togetherat the GENERALI BERLIN HALFMARATHON. The start this year hasbeen moved to the grand boulevardStrasse des 17. Juni in the middle ofTiergarten park. From there, the skaterswill embark on a multifacetedcity tour on wheels. Past the VictoryColumn and the Charlottenburg Palace,over the main shopping streetKu‘damm, the big squares at PotsdamerPlatz and Leipziger Platz, past thebeautiful square at Gendarmenmarktto the finish line just behind the BrandenburgGate. Grandstands on theright and left of the course provide areal stadium atmosphere. The newroute has lots of curves. We suggestthat you enjoy an easy and fun race,especially if you have not had muchtime to get too many kilometers onwheels after the long winter break.HALF MARATHON EXPO andKids Skating at Tempelhof AirportCheck-in for the race will take place atthe former Tempelhof Airport, same aslast year. All participants will receivetheir race documents there. The InlineVillage also offers a meeting point for allskaters, the Rollerblade Service Stationis available for quick repairs and therewill be all kinds of interesting offers fromnumerous stands. The children‘s races –on both skates and scooters – will takeplace on the airfield in front of the airportbuilding on Saturday afternoon. Registrationis only possible on site, up to30 minutes before the start.Off to the party after the raceEven if your legs are tired after therace: We will be celebrating on Sunday!We invite all participants in theGENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHONto a big after-party in the PURO SkyLounge high above the rooftops of thecapital.
